Graham Nash/MGN Digital Media Productions Update Week of June 18th
This week on Fuel TV's The Daily Habit on 6/18/09 check out some of my footage from Hawaii and a recent adventure to Australia of Nate Yeomans. Pro surfer, Nate Yeomans drops in to talk about his charge toward the WCT and the recent 6.0 Lowers Pro. On 7/1/09 you can view some of my footage of Gavin Beschen from the North Shore of Oahu, he will be the featured athlete on Fuel TV's The Daily Habit. Next up will be Nathan Fletcher, he will be appearing on an upcoming episode of the Fuel TV's The Daily Habit.
I spent the past week in Southern California at the NSSA Nationals Championships held at Lower Trestles. Lowers served up pint sized conditions perfect for all of the groms. Kolohe Andino was the man to beat, taking out numerous titles including the Open Mens and the Airshow. Lakey Peterson took down the heavily contested Open Womens Final and pulled a legitimate Air, the first ever landed by a female in NSSA competition history. You can view my videos of the event on surfline.com under the NSSA performer of the day with Evan Geiselman and Connor Coffin as well as video of the final day action in their wrap up story. You can also view my wrap up videos of the event at nssalive.com. I will be producing an in depth profile of event champion Kolohe Andino for grindtv.com. Stay tuned to my blog for dates when it will be featured on the site.
After NSSA Nationals I immediately traveled to Huntington Beach to the Nike 6.0 Pier Pressure Pro Junior. Hawaiian standout, Keanu Asing, took the competition by storm with his power surfing. You can view my wrap up videos of the event on nike6pierpressure.com.
Also stay tuned for some of my footage of Santa Cruz's future star, Nat Young, as Fuel TV presents the 2009 ISA World Games in Ecuador.
Check out Nelly's Magic Moments on transworldsurf.com, you can watch the latest episode about one of Nelly's favorite locations, Tahiti. I put the episode below as well for you to enjoy.
