Graham Nash/MGN Digital Media Productions Update Week of June 18th







This week on Fuel TV's The Daily Habit on 6/18/09 check out some of my footage from Hawaii and a recent adventure to Australia of Nate Yeomans. Pro surfer, Nate Yeomans drops in to talk about his charge toward the WCT and the recent 6.0 Lowers Pro. On 7/1/09 you can view some of my footage of Gavin Beschen from the North Shore of Oahu, he will be the featured athlete on Fuel TV's The Daily Habit. Next up will be Nathan Fletcher, he will be appearing on an upcoming episode of the Fuel TV's The Daily Habit.

I spent the past week in Southern California at the NSSA Nationals Championships held at Lower Trestles. Lowers serve
d up pint sized conditions perfect for all of the groms. Kolohe Andino was the man to beat, taking out numerous titles including the Open Mens and the Airshow. Lakey Peterson took down the heavily contested Open Womens Final and pulled a legitimate Air, the first ever landed by a female in NSSA competition history. After NSSA Nationals I immediately traveled to Huntington Beach to the Nike 6.0 Pier Pressure Pro Junior. Hawaiian standout, Keanu Asing, took the competition by storm with his power surfing. You can view my wrap up videos of the event on nike6pierpressure.com.

June 2009

The month of June marks the official beginning of summer and so far it has been one to remember. Southern hemisphere swells have kicked into gear, brewing up a healthy batch of storms for the entire west coast. Starting off with the Arnette Pro Jr., which went off on June 6 - 7 in Newport Beach, California. Working alongside the lovely, Erica Hosseini, for grindtv.com, I produced a video about the event and the daily highlight reels for the Action Sports Group. Next up I am headed down to Southern California for NSSA Nationals held at Lower Trestles from June 22 - 27 followed by the Nike Pier Pressure Pro Jr held at Huntington Beach from June 28 - 29. Stay tuned for the latest videos from both of these events.

June 2 marked the end of the Nike Lowers Pro WQS 6 star prime and Oakley Pro Junior Grade 2 Qualifier for the Oakley Pro Junior International Final in Bali.
